TICKET PURCHASE & ADMISSION POLICY
ABACO JAZZ & BLUES FESTIVAL
These terms and conditions apply to tickets purchased for events presented by the Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival (AJBF).
By purchasing or using an AJBF ticket, the purchaser and ticket holder agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
TICKET PURCHASES
Tickets are sold at the prices displayed at the time of purchase. The purchaser is responsible for reviewing the event information, ticket type, quantity and total amount before completing payment.
Where available, multiple tickets may be purchased in a single transaction.
A ticket purchase is considered complete once payment has been successfully processed and a ticket or purchase confirmation has been issued.
TICKET CONFIRMATION
Purchasers should retain their electronic ticket, receipt or confirmation after completing their purchase.
A valid electronic or printed ticket, confirmation, QR code, barcode or other approved admission credential may be required for entry.
Each ticket or admission credential may be used only as authorized and may not be duplicated, copied or used to obtain multiple admissions.
ADMISSION
Admission is subject to verification of a valid ticket or other approved Festival credential.
The Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival reserves the right to refuse admission or remove an individual from an event for fraudulent ticket use, disruptive or threatening conduct, violation of venue rules, unlawful activity, or conduct that may endanger performers, staff, volunteers, vendors or other guests.
TICKET TRANSFERS
Unless otherwise stated for a particular event or ticket type, tickets may be transferred to another guest.
The original purchaser is responsible for ensuring that any transferred ticket or confirmation is provided only to the intended recipient.
The Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival is not responsible for disputes arising from unauthorized resale, duplication or transfer of tickets between private individuals.
REFUNDS
All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated by the Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival or unless the applicable event is cancelled and a refund is authorized.
A purchaser who chooses not to attend, arrives late, is unable to travel, or otherwise does not use a valid ticket is not automatically entitled to a refund.
Any approved refund will normally be returned through the original payment method, where possible, and may be subject to the procedures and processing times of the applicable payment provider.
EVENT CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT OR CHANGES
Festival events may be affected by weather, travel disruptions, artist availability, venue requirements, public safety concerns, circumstances beyond the Festival’s reasonable control, or other operational considerations.
The Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event dates, times, venues, participating artists or programming when necessary.
A change in an artist, performance schedule or Festival programming does not automatically entitle the ticket holder to a refund.
If an event is cancelled or materially rescheduled, the Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival will communicate the applicable ticket options to affected purchasers.
ARTIST & PROGRAM CHANGES
Artists and advertised programming are subject to change.
While the Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival will make reasonable efforts to present the announced Festival program, the appearance of a particular artist or performer cannot be guaranteed where circumstances beyond the Festival’s reasonable control prevent that appearance.
Changes to the artist lineup or Festival programming do not automatically entitle a ticket holder to a refund.
LOST OR UNAVAILABLE TICKETS
Purchasers who cannot locate their electronic ticket or purchase confirmation should contact the Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival for assistance.
The Festival may require sufficient purchase information to verify the transaction before replacing, reissuing or confirming an admission credential.
The Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival is not responsible for tickets that have been intentionally transferred to or used by another person.
UNAUTHORIZED RESALE & DUPLICATION
Tickets may not be fraudulently reproduced, duplicated, altered or otherwise misused.
The Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival reserves the right to invalidate any ticket reasonably determined to be counterfeit, duplicated, fraudulently obtained or improperly altered.
Purchasers are encouraged to obtain tickets only through the Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival or an officially authorized ticketing or payment channel.
EVENT CONDUCT
All ticket holders and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner and must comply with reasonable Festival and venue rules and instructions from authorized Festival or venue personnel.
The Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival and the applicable venue reserve the right to refuse continued admission or remove any individual engaging in dangerous, abusive, threatening, disruptive or unlawful conduct.
Removal from an event for such conduct does not automatically entitle the individual to a refund.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings while attending Festival events.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival is not responsible for personal property that is lost, stolen or damaged during an event, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & MEDIA
Abaco Jazz & Blues Festival events may be photographed, filmed or recorded for Festival documentation, news coverage, promotional materials, social media and other legitimate Festival purposes.
By entering a Festival event, attendees acknowledge that they may appear incidentally in photographs, video or other recordings taken during the event, subject to applicable law.
